Safeguarding

The Swedish Cheerleading Federation (SCF) is committed to ensuring a safe environment for all athletes participating in the Nordic Championship. Both the SCF and member federations hold the responsibility to promote the welfare and protection of athletes, practicing safeguarding measures to protect them from any harm. SCF is dedicated to maintaining and continuously improving these practices to ensure a safe and secure competitive environment.

A Safeguarding Officer will be present during the whole competition.

We expect all attendees to report any suspicions or instances of harassment, abuse or exploitation.


Coaches, Support Staff and Other Entourage

Adherence to these requirements is mandatory:

If there are any incidents/and or reports concerning an individual, we reserve the right to deny that person attendance at the competition.


Participating Clubs

All participating clubs are strongly encouraged to:

  • Create or review their own national safeguarding policy and protocols, including but not limited to risk analyses for competition and travel, especially with minors
  • Appoint a Safeguarding Officer for the club who will be present at the event.
