The Polish Cheerleading Sports Association, as part of the Erasmus+ Sport project ”Supporting the development of sports cheerleading employees in Poland” sent two representatives of the association’s board to the Swedish Cheerleading Federation to observe work and teaching activities. They spent 3 days in the organization between May 24th and 26th 2024 and shadowed their Swedish counterparts. The visit and subsequent job shadowing activities will expand management staff competences when it comes to managing the Polish association work organization.
Additionally, three coaches from the Polish Cheerleading Sports Association spent 15 days between October 25th and November 8th 2024 at the Swedish Cheerleading Federation. They also observed the work of coaches working in the federation and expanding their knowledge by running coaching practices and trainings. As a result, they have contributed to the exchange of experiences and methods with Swedish partner, developing the potential of grassroots organizations in sports fields. Polish coaches learned how Swedish organizations include and implement the anti-doping policies and how they encourage the fair play ethos in their training sessions.
The Erasmus+ Sports project helps all partner organizations and countries to access competitions in other countries, broadens their knowledge of training methods, how to incorporate anti-doping and fair play ethos into training programs. In addition, the project helps in building a long-term partnership.
